Why is brand SEO so important?

If you have a company you should start thinking that marketing is not the name of a department, but a strategy. Like all strategies, this one applies several techniques, including SEO and branding. Together, they form brand SEO , which deals with two different and complementary types of positioning.


The importance of working on both is vital, so we are going to analyze them and clarify what each one represents for the company and why it is better to implement them coherently. Remember, the key is positioning; both in search engines and in the mind of your ideal client.
What is brand SEO?
Brand SEO, brand SEO or branded SEO is called the marketing strategy that seeks positioning in search engines for brand keywords . That is, terms that include the brand by which a company, a professional or a product is known in its sector.
As can be seen from the definition, this strategy is especially relevant for brands that have already achieved a certain recognition . When users search for them, they do so because of a specific interest in them or in the products or services they market under that name

The fact is, Google likes brands, but not all . Only those that obtain the favor of users. It is widely believed that Google benefits brands that follow its algorithm, but things don't work exactly like that.


In reality, to obtain the favor of the famous algorithm you have to bow to the needs of the users. When Google shows a page in the top positions, but the users who visit it abandon it very quickly or do not interact with it, that SEO positioning is lost.


When branding is worked on in such a way that users recognize the brand and feel attracted by its authority, by the experience they recognize and by the trust it arouses in them, the positioning is maintained . That's what brand SEO is all about.


Greater conversion power
In brand SEO it deals with the positioning of brand words. Working properly shortens the purchasing process, which means it increases the conversion power.


Think about it: a person looking for any pen is more likely to be seduced by competitors' pens than someone looking for the pen you sell them.
