When it comes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, some energy-intensive industries are particularly “difficult to abate.” Such as shipping, trucking, aviation, steel and mining – these sectors are responsible for gathering and transporting many of the resources on which the global economy depends. We spoke with Ned Harvey, managing director of industry programs at the Rocky Mountain Institute, about these industries’ new efforts to combat climate change.
Few people do not know the name DuPont, but "New DuPont" is a name. The company's mission is very different from its original founding as a gunpowder factory more than 200 years ago.
